Genisys vacuum canisters have a well-earned reputation for keeping food fresh.
In utilizing state of the art materials and design, these vacuum canisters are the very best you can get. The canister base is one piece so cleaning any spills and washing up is a breeze because there is no groves or seals for contaminates to get into. We have designed the lid so the wide silicon seal is captured inside a lip and won’t work loose. In addition, the one-way valve in the lid is made of food-grade silicon material that features an adjustable “use-by” date indicator.
As an example soups that would usually last 4-6 days can now be kept in the vacuum canisters for 3 to 5 weeks. The adjustable date indicator is a clever system which allows you to set the “use-by” date to remind you when best to consume your soup by.
Designed in Germany, the canister allows you to vacuum seal your food via a manual hand pump, Canvac electric pump or Freshield Vacuum sealer unit (via a link hose). The hand pump allows you to seal a container in seconds. To open the canister, you simply release the vacuum inside the canister by gently lifting the one-way silicon valve. Take out what you need and put the lid back on and vacuum seal the canister again.
Genisys Vacuum Canisters are BPA free and are made by FDA approved food grade plastics. They won’t stain or discolour and will stack conveniently for efficient storage. Microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe means you can use it for steaming beans in the microwave or freezing left over lasagne.

The innovative Wizvac Plus bags are made from a 5 ply polyethylene mesh material with a diamond pattern engineered into it that allows air to be easily removed but diffuses any moisture so safe guard sealing. It provides a very effective barrier against oxygen and moisture loss, and helps eliminate freezer burn.
They are FDA approved as food grade plastics and come with BPA free certification. Being clear allows you to easily see what food is in side and its condition.
Being food grade enables the bags to be used in the freezer, microwave or in a pot of simmering water. It also means you can wash them out and reuse them again and again.
The double ziplock seal enables effective sealing whist making access to your food inside very easy.
They have a one way silicon valve with dust cap that enables effective vacuuming via a hand pump or vacuum sealing machine with a link hose.
Simply place you food in the bag and close the double zip lock closure in both directions. Place the hand pump over the valve and begin pumping. When you have reached the desired vacuum level simply stop and put the dust cat over the valve.
These are a terrific solution for short term food storage for backpacking, hiking or anywhere that space and access are important. Please note these are not designed or recommended for long term food storage. The double ziplock valve cannot compare to the hermetic heat seal used in a vacuum sealing machine.
